Meet The Team! Part 2

Autumn Deason

My name is Autumn Deason. I am a mom of two wonderful children, Jaxon who is 7 and Aubrey who is  4.  I have an amazing husband! I love the Lord with all my heart, so when he called me to Africa I told him I would go!! I still wonder why he picked "little ol me" . I know he has amazing plans for this team to carry out his will. I am so excited and ready for this amazing mission! This will be my second time out of the country ( I served in India in 2009). James 1:27.

Shon Tetik

Hi, my name is Shon Tetik. I have four grown children, one daughter-in-law, two grandchildren, two cats and a "couple" of rescued dogs. It's probably a sickness but Animal Planet has not called me yet for a segment on any reality show, so maybe there's hope!

My adoption into Christ's family took place when I was nine. So by the human timeline, 40 years have passed. But just last year God began a transformation in my life centering in trust and practicing the act of faith. He led me to hear a story of African Christians slaughtered for their faith. My heart was stirred in that moment--I had to go to Africa. And even though Swazi is not the same country that this occurred in, God has nevertheless opened the door  and provided an opportunity for me to be a part of a magnificent journey. I still shake my head in wonder that He would let me---I mean ME!--be a part of something like this.

So to those of you who read my little story, please pray. Pray for God's glory to shine through the likes of me and that "He will do immeasurably more than we can ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us."

Jessica Frazier
Hello, World! I am Jessica Frazier. God put a passion for students in my life several years ago. As a result, I am currently a high school teacher and a youth minister. I never felt a strong calling for international missions until last year when God, through a series of lessons and experiences, began to open my eyes to the lost and hurting around the world. About to embark on my second international mission trip, I find that it’s not always easy to explain why I would rather go on a mission trip to Swaziland, Africa than go on a trip with friends to Jamaica. However, It is truly a joy to spread to love of Christ, and now God has allowed me to be part of taking that love outside of my classroom and sharing it globally.
